Jaap Moerman is a retired Dutch radio amateur who has been licensed since 1981. He started as PE1KTF and later became PA3EKI after obtaining his CW qualification. His main passion is SSTV, and he regularly runs three instances of MMSSTV together with KG-STV. Jaap is active on a wide range of amateur bands from HF through VHF and UHF to 3 cm via QO-100. His station also includes satellite communication, APRS gateway PA3EKI-10, DMR and D-Star hotspots, making experimentation with different forms of radio communication an important part of his hobby.
